Halloweenapalooza 2009

So we had a little Halloween get together at our house with all the Kidlets! The kiddos played in the backyard before the hayride and then went throughout the neighborhood for trick-or-treating.

Home to our boys!

Boy was our baby happy to see his girls! Micah was taking occasional steps when we returned but not long enough for a clear photo!

Last morning...

Flora woke up feeling so good on our last morning at Disney. I told her she could go do anything that she wanted. She chose to take the ferry to Magic Kingdom and ride the Carousel three times. Ava chose to stay at the hotel and take a quick swim with Grandma Vonnie.
Finally healthy...

Our Last Evening in Disney

After our dinner, I convinced the girls to go for a walk around Epcot with me. The food and wine festival was going on and people were having a ball...eating and drinking. We walked around the lake and stopped for a bit of the light and firework show before beating the crowds back to the tram.
A photo that highlights the fireworks...
What I will never forget...our sweet double stroller...

Back to Epcot for another Princess Dinner!

Aunt Amy and Grandma Vonnie joined us for a dinner with all the Disney Princesses. We went back to Norway (the scene of the a very bad experience earlier in the week...the Malestrom ride with trolls and a viking ship that went downhill backwards...big thumbs down from the Fink girls).
Flora was not feeling well again and would not dress up. She did not want to meet any of the Princesses. However, when we told Aurora Flora's name...she knelt down and told her all about her dear Aunt Flora. Her face just lit up and she even gave her a hug.

A Royal Evening...

Ava was truly so very happy meeting the wicked stepmother and stepsisters...she just held her face in her hands and had big, content sighs.

Dinner with Cinderella

After a quick swim at our beautiful hotel, we went back to our room to get ready for our dinner with Cinderella and her Family.
Flora felt horrible and I had to buy her off with a Jasmine crown to even attend the dinner. She wore a beautiful combination of the new crown, Sleeping Beauty shoes, a Pocahontas buckskin dress and a Hula Minnie necklace.
The dinner was spectacular! Cinderella and company were so kind to the girls!

How long is too long when it comes to Fairy Photos?

We decided a 50 minute wait was worth it...for adorable Fawn...
spunky Tink...

and beautiful (and so very friendly) Iridessa!
Before we left, the girls loved looking at Minnie Mouse's House...a highlight for sure!
They were both crying when I snapped this photo...I found it very ironic.

More Magic Kingdom minus Advil

Ava tried her hand at the Sword in the Stone...
then she asked Flora to come help her...she truly thought "if I just had a little more muscle power...perhaps the four year old who weighs 34 pounds burning with fever will do the trick".

I wished a couple times during our trip that stocks came in mini foldable versions for this very child.

After going to the Hall of Presidents show (Ava's only request for the trip...not enjoyed by feverish Flora), we were met by Amy and Vonnie for lunch in Liberty Square. Flora was not feeling well so the girls and I cut the lunch short and went on a Jungle River cruise.

Along the way...we saw Stitch and he really wanted to give the girls a big hug!
