An end to a weekend of blessings...

I laid Micah down on the couch while I helped Flora up to her chair (it took about 3 seconds)....when I turned back to Micah he was completely passed out. Our little bunny was just tuckered from all the excitement. It was an amazing end to a truly wonderful Easter weekend.

How blessed are we?

The Final Hunt

After a couple group shots, the last egg hunt of the weekend commenced. Flora was lucky enough to find the "golden egg" and won $5.00 from the Easter Bunny. She was thrilled to "have money just like Sissy". After loosing 6 teeth, Ava is quite well off.

Micah cheered from the sidelines with Daddy and Grandma Vonnie.

Easter Sunday

Easter morning was spent at the Jensen ranch with the Fischer/Jensen families. (No camera=no photos) We enjoyed a fabulous brunch and got to visit with Beth and Mia who flew in from CA for the holiday. The girls especially enjoyed egg hunt numero tres.
Easter afternoon was spent with the Nelles/Brocopp/Fink families at Nana Marilyn and Uncle Don's house. We enjoyed another fabulous meal, great conversation and a lot of golf on tv.
The minute we walked into the door, Keegan asked to hold baby Micah. What a handsome duo!
Then it was Mindy's turn...Micah got lots of attention this weekend. Who can resist snuggling a little baby boy in a plaid romper?
The cousins were prepared for egg hunt #4!
The girls loved every minute of their playtime with Keegan and Tatum. We literally did not hear a peep from the group for the entire 3 hours. I did listen to them playing a game of "school" on the basement...so adorable!

Hunt Number 2 out of 4

Micah woke up just in time to watch his Sister participate in another egg hunt.
He looked so very dapper in his outfit (handed down from Sy, Logan and Luke).
Flora participated in the the 0-4 age range hunt and collected two red eggs...she found an egg and said "look it is red" and then found another egg and said "it is another red one". I asked her if she wanted to pick up any of the others that were scattered underneath her feet and she said "no thanks".
Ava's mindset was more competitive and she kept looking long after all the eggs were collected (it took about 90 seconds). She has a hopeful spirit...thinking that maybe an egg was overlooked. It was so "Ava".
Sisters waiting in line for one last pony ride.

Easter Saturday at Yellowstone

I have officially lost my camera...so Heather kindly snapped photos of our family while we enjoyed a beautiful afternoon at Yellowstone. This may turn out to be a happy accident as I never remember to include myself (AKA Mystery Mama) in any of the photos.
The pony ride was an absolute hit with both girls...they both rode Elvis twice. However, they would have stayed in line all day for another chance to tame that fiery steed.

They had sweet baby chicks, ducks, bunnies and other farm animals for the kiddos to "love". Ava had a really tough time leaving those little sweethearts and asked us in the car if she could "pick the next pet after Sparky and Ruby die". I think she is hoping for a menagerie.

Having a Ball with the Bergeson Crew

Flora had so much fun with all of the kids she "waited too long and couldn't hold it". She made it just to the back porch step and had a little accident. She was completely embarrassed...just mortified and begged us to take her home. Robb kindly offered her a pair of Riley's super hero underwear...but Flora would have nothing to do with "boy panties". Thankfully after a quick sink wash, a speedy dry cycle and a snuggle with Daddy on the couch, Flora was able to pull herself together and enjoy the festivities.

Easter Excitement at the Bergeson's

Heather, Robb, Riley, and Finley were kind enough to invite us over for a fabulous dinner on Good Friday. We were able to catch up with the Dolan, Bergeson and Murphy families...especially Nate and Jess and their kiddos McKenna and JJ. Nate and Jess were our Missoula angels during Micah's birth and we love seeing them when they come "home" to Billings. We were thrilled to start the holiday weekend off with some amazing food and the first of four scheduled egg hunts.

We love our "brover"!

Playdate!!!

Can they stay little forever?

Because it was such a nice sunny afternoon, we paused our dress-up game "Mulan meets Tinkerbell" and took the playdoh outside.

Unpause.

One last swim before we hit the road...

Jenny!!!

Jenny came to visit after work to watch the girls swim and tuck them into bed. The girls were thrilled (as always) to see their favorite birthsister!

Birthfamily Reunion!

We were lucky enough to spend part of the weekend in Bozeman with Micah's birthsister, birthmother and her fiancee. Although we almost had to cancel due to a wicked stomach virus that attacked both Flora and Micah...we soldiered on and had a fabulous time visiting, swimming and playing barbies.
