The Birthday Buddies!

Flora and Papa Ted share a birthday. So, we have been talking "birthday themes". Flora has decided on a "Tinker bell...check. Raspberry...check. Barbie and the Diamond Castle...check." birthday party. She wants to have a bicycle parade, egg hunt and hula dancing with a luau theme. Flora does not care what food is served but she wants lots of friends to be invited. Hmmm...a challenge!

and a visit with the Cladis's. Grandma Vonnie and Papa Ted were in Red Lodge for the afternoon visiting Nick and Linda. Micah was lucky enough to get some one-on-one time with Nick, Linda and Grandma Vonnie. After Nick and the girls finished exploring, we went to a fabulous dinner with Grandma Susan at Bridge Creek. What a wonderful and very relaxing weekend!

Memorial Day in Red Lodge

We spent a beautiful Memorial Day weekend in Red Lodge with Grandma and Grandpa. Ava and Flora spent Friday night searching for rocks. The Murphy family came up on Saturday and joined us for dinner.

First Pool Day with the Nemer's! Whooo Hooo!
After 45 minutes of pre-pool prep (just applying sunscreen to three kids takes a half an hour), we arrived with 3 bag loads of water play necessities, a baby tent and a huge floaty with canopy. Ava was calling me "Sherpa Mama".
Micah loved the water. He was so excited and kicky!

Today, we stopped off at Heather's for a quick playdate with Riley and Finley. All activity stopped when Heather got out snacks...first rainbow snow cone appetizers followed by popsicle entrees. (Ava was cut off at 4). After our treats, Finley was kind enough to share her swing with Baby Micah.

Teaching Cousin Sophie

We were lucky enough to have Cousin Sophie over to play. While Micah napped, Flora taught Sophie "moves"...she was such a good student.

Heat Wave!

What a fabulous warm day! The girls put on their swimsuits and enjoyed the 80 degree weather. We found that Micah love, love, loves his swing!

Flora's Last Day of Preschool

Flora graduated from the Tuesday/Thursday 3/4 year old class at Good Shepherd Lutheran Preschool. She sang "The Pizza Song", "I Like Being a Kid" and "The Ladybug Song". After receiving a graduation medal and class photo, we had some celebratory watermelon and coffee cake. It was a glorious event and a fabulous end to a wonderful school year. Flora has grown so much. She joins in during circle, insists on doing "at least three" art projects and adores spending time with her teachers (Jan, Debbie and Naomi).
