About 3 days before Christmas, Flora "got" the concept of Santa. She asked that Santa bring her a "Princess Disney" (Sing Along Princess DVD that we had borrowed from the library). Though is was a VERY difficult request, Santa came through and the DVD was in her stocking Christmas morning. Eric and I were rewarded with one of those moments you dream of as a Parent. Flora saw the movie and quietly said "ohhh, ohhh, my Princess Disney" over and over as she hugged the DVD to her chest. It did not leave her grasp for hours. Priceless!
Currently, Ava and Flora are really enjoying the new Princess dresses that Santa brought! Flora is taking after big Sister as she spends about an hour a day in costume (never forgetting the shoes), dancing to a Disney Princess CD. She sings along beautifully.
