Goodbye Baby Teeth

With a huge sigh of relief, the Finks are proud to announce that Ava has finally lost her first two baby teeth. She initially told us that her teeth were loose on our cruise...in January. For the last two weeks, her two bottom teeth have been hanging forward on small threads as her permanent teeth were growing up from behind. When she talked, laughed and ate, Ava looked very "Appalachia".

I have to give her a big thumbs up for personal pain management as the "non-wiggle, eat all food with your molars technique" (though more timely) actually allows one to have no sensation at all in the tooth losing process. She unknowingly swallowed the first one while eating a snack at Reese's (she did not believe me when I told her she was missing a tooth) and the second one actually fell out while she was talking.

That gap filled smile is a beautiful sight.
