Flora was kind enough to read "nigh nigh" books to both Micah and Weenie (Flora's stuffed puppy). She went through the whole Jasmine book...page by page...and sounded out the words like Ava does. If she came to a part that she did not have memorized, Flora would ask me, "what does this say?" She would then repeat me and follow the words with her finger (again...just like Ava). After about 20 minutes, Micah let her know that book time was over by starting to fuss. Flora said, "Micah...ask your words". Brooke had been telling Brighton to "use her words" all morning...and Flora liked her strategy. Hope it works.
