Ava has been enjoying playing with a friend from school named Taylor. Taylor is well known to our family from the saga of "Sydney and Taylor" that continued throughout most of Spring 2006.
While in the 3 year old class last year, Ava wrote many letters, created artistic masterpieces, and commented continuously on her love for two sisters (actually friends who carpooled with each other) named Taylor and Sydney. Eric and I assumed that they were all very close until Spring Conferences when Jeannie and Jan mentioned that she had never spoken to either of the girls. We later figured out that Ava seemed to appreciate (and perhaps admire from afar) the close friendship that Sydney and Taylor had with each other...I guess she kind of "felt the love".
Taylor is even better in real life...they have a ball together and her little sister, Hailey, is Flora's first official "girlfriend". Flora especially admires Hailey's pigtails and consistent ability to wear panties.
