Eric's favorite game with the girls is "catch a wave" at the beach. He holds them upside down and "throws" them into the crashing wave and then runs back before the water touches them. Lots of giggles and squeals...true fun!
The waves at the beach near Coco Loco were just thunderous and getting bigger and bigger as the day wore on. While playing "catch a wave" a local man starting yelling at us...pointing his finger...telling Eric how "it is ok if you take your life into your hands but don't risk the life of the children...the waves are very dangerous". We then noticed there were no Mexicans in or near the water...only a few very white people. This observation and the subsequent end to "catch a wave" is why I consider myself a seasoned traveler...trusting my instincts (plus...the local yelling at us helped, too).
