After spending the night in Not So Sunny LA (fyi: 1. if the city has been experiencing flooding and rain for 4 days...people are going to be grouchy, 2. don't go to Santa Monica on the Public Bus during a rain storm...everyone who has a home is in their home...all those who don't are on the bus) we headed out bright and early to Billings via Salt Lake.
We landed and the sun was shining...all we had was an hour layover and we were home free. However, luck would have it that a BLIZZARD would pop up out of nowhere and long story short...after sitting on the plane at the gate for 2 hours
(just before going out to the runway to wait for deicing...they closed the Billings Airport) we ended up at the Comfort Suites in SLC. We had a great time swimming, eating microwave popcorn and drinking hot cocoa.
